Art. 135. Circolazione con patenti di guida rilasciate da Stati esteri. (Prima frase) --  I conducenti muniti di patenti di guida o di permesso internazionale rilasciati da uno Stato estero possono guidare in Italia veicoli per i quali e' valida la loro patente o il loro permesso, purche' non siano residenti in Italia da oltre un anno.

Translation:

Article 135. Driving with a license issued by a foreign country. (First sentence) --  Drivers with a license or an International permit issued by a foreign country may drive vehicles in Italy as authorized by their license or permit providing they are not resident in Italy more than one year.
